Vacation mode allows you to take a break from tracking your macros and to easily return when you’re ready. Because the system won’t be expecting you to be compliant with your macros during that time, some people get confused about when they should use Vacation Mode or when they should just mark out of range for their check-ins while not tracking.
The simple answer is: If you know you’ll be out of range for longer than a week (such as for upcoming travels) then switch to Vacation Mode. If the period of non-compliance will be less than 1 week (such as a weekend getaway), just check in as normal and mark out of range.
To toggle Vacation Mode, go to your Advanced Features. Click “Vacation Mode” and then use the toggle to turn on Vacation Mode.
When you come back from Vacation Mode, the system will ask if you want to resume with your previous macros or start fresh. For short times away from tracking (1-4 weeks) it’s fine to pick up where you left off. However, if you’ve taken many weeks or months away from tracking, it’s better to give the system a chance to start fresh and adapt to your current needs, rather than your past needs.
