When you reach the compliant range for each macro, the target and circle graph around the macro will turn green. You can also check to see whether you’re within the compliant range at any time during the week by tapping the Show Averages button in the tracker. The targets will flip to show you your weekly running average.

On check-in day, the Avatar system will retrieve your data from the tracker automatically to show whether or not you are in range on average for the week. If you’ve been accurately measuring your serving sizes and have remembered to log all your food in the tracker, you can answer “yes” or “no” to the In or Out of Range question based on what the system is telling you.

If you’re using a different tracker, you’ll need to do your own math to figure out whether you fell within the compliance range for the week. To be on the safe side, aim to be within about 10 grams of your carbohydrate and protein targets, and within 5 grams of your fat target. You don’t need to hit each of your macros to the exact gram, but you do need to be in the right ballpark!

Also, remember that compliance means being within range on AVERAGE throughout the course of the entire week. So, if you were 30 over your carbs on one day, and 30 under the next, you would average out perfectly! Don't beat yourself up if you're outside of range one day since you can easily compensate for this on another day.

If you’d like the Avatar system to set new macros for you each day based on what you’ve actually tracked, turn on the Daily Adjustments feature. If you go over or under your carbs and/or fat, the macros will automatically be subtracted from or added to the following day to keep you in range. This makes hitting your weekly average easy!
