Rather than attempting to increase your protein target through carb and/or fat substitution, simply use the Protein Boost in Diet Settings to adjust your target to your desired level. The additional calories added to your protein target will automatically be deducted from your carb target.

 

Although increasing your protein target won’t enable you to preserve or build more muscle than you would following Avatar’s recommendations, it may offer slightly greater thermogenic and satiety benefits, and will help you better stick to your diet if you simply prefer more protein.
