I Just Switched Methods of Measuring Body Fat. What Do I Do?

Modified on Tue, 1 Aug, 2023 at 12:58 PM

Each method of measuring body fat will yield slightly different results, so for the system to detect an accurate change in body fat from week to week, it’s important to use the same method at each check-in.

If for some reason you need to change the way you measure body fat, this may have a slight impact on your macro adjustment. If the adjustment wasn’t appropriate, the system will quickly detect this based on your change in progress and will re-adjust your macros at the following check-in to get you back on track. From there, do your best to stick to your new method of measurement. If you know that a change in measurement threw off the accuracy of your check-in, you can select “Keep Targets” after checking in to keep the same targets for another week.
